Vehicles in accidents often do not show damage under casual observation. This foam bumper core showed no external visible damage.
The damage was not visible until the bumper was removed.
Careful and experienced inspection of the vehicle is often required, along
with the removal of external panels and bumpers.

Crash-resistant bumpers protect cars.
They do NOT protect passengers and they can often make injuries worse.
