Peter Alexander

Dr. Alexander has held positions in the Government, Academia, and Industry. He currently serves as Senior Physicist at Raymond Smith & Associates where he specializes in Accident Reconstruction, Product Failure, and Forensic Analysis.  Dr. Alexander holds a B.S. in Physics from M.I.T. and a Ph.D. from Purdue University in Physics and Mathematics.  He also served on the Physics faculty of the California Institute of Technology.

He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences.  He has organized and participated in many staged vehicle crash tests.  He is a technical reviewer for SAE and AAFS papers.  He has investigated approximately 1000 vehicle crashes and testified in both civil and criminal trials.
